The print-out quality is bad.

In the case of toner cartridges you may be required to remove a protective seal prior to installation. This seal prevents any leakage of toner during shipping. Please check your box for instructions on properly removing the seal. During delivery, if the product was exposed to severe cold weather, toner and ink products may experience a temporary change in characteristics. Please allow the product ample time to adapt to room temperature. The toner cartridge may require gentle shaking from side to side to break up any toner clusters. Ink cartridges will generally work fine after allowing to adapt to normal room temperature. They do not require any shaking. Also check if the vent tape has been completely removed from the cartridge. The proper venting will allow consistent ink flow into the print head and insure the proper operation of the print device. If you have ordered a cartridge that has a built in print head (for example most HP, Sharp, Lexmark, and Dell are of this type) then you may experience what is referred to as “shipping stress”. This is where the nozzles may become clogged at the point of delivery. This problem can be easily solved in most cases by removing the cartridge, taking it to your sink or laundry tub, take a paper towel fold into a pad, and run under hot water. Once it is nice and hot apply to the bottom of the cartridge (print head only). Repeat this process a few times to allow the heat and moisture to dissolve any ink at the top of the print head. Once you see all colors or dark black ink on the paper towel, chances are you have dissolved the clog. Dry the print head with another paper towel and insert in printer. Run a full cleaning cycle (generally found in the print properties)
